Get involved! The East Portland Chamber of Commerce offers a number of ways for members to become more actively involved, share your talents, shape the organization, increase visibility for your business and get to know other Chamber members. Volunteer for the board, or for one of the committees listed below!

The board is comprised of Chamber members who agree to serve as board members for a three-year term. Board meetings are open to all members of the Chamber.  In fact, member attendance is encouraged whenever possible as it allows you to be heard more directly and stay involved in the Chamber’s growth.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee meets the first Tuesday of every month at Back Pain and Accident Chiropractic, 16742 SE Division from 8:00am to 9:00am. This committee is focused on ways to increase membership.

Ambassadors  Group

The Ambassadors Committee meets the third Monday of every month from 11:45am to 1:00pm at Stark Street Pizza, 9234 SE Stark St. Ambassadors greet members and guests at the AM meetings, assist with special events, Ribbon cutting ceremonies at grand openings, and help create fun new ways for Chamber members to interact with each other. This is an excellent way to get to know your fellow Chamber members and help your East Portland Chamber!

Public Relations & Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee meets the last Friday of every month from 8:30am to 9:30am. This committee explores and implements ways to help make our Chamber visible and known within our community in a consistent manner. Our brochures, event flyers, press releases and other public documents are designed and published by this committee.

Government and Economic Affairs

The Government and Economic Affairs Committee also meets the third Mondayof every month at McMenamin’s Mall 205 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. The Government Affairs Committee keeps tabs on policy issues that affect small businesses and works to make sure your voice is heard within the community, city and governmental bodies.
