Portland’s Eastside: Easy to Get to, Lots to Do

By air, the gateway to the city is Portland International Airport in the heart of east Portland. Car rentals as well as direct and convenient light rail service offer visitors quick access to East Portland and its gateway to the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood, as well as to the city center and on west to the Oregon Coast.
The freeways and public transit system throughout Portland’s eastside offer ready access to many choices for lodging, restaurants, shopping. entertainment, museums, recreation, sight-seeing, as well as places of worship.
