I am sitting here in Port Ludlow looking at where the Hood Canal flows into the Puget Sound reading an email that I have a new client back in Portland.  This is a business I've never been to and an owner I've never met.  But because I invited everyone in my various business groups on social media to our Chamber meetings, this person attended.  And they decided to do business with me because of the standing I derived from being a Chamber member and being someone willing to help.

You will be surprised how easy it is to copy the Chamber announcements and post them into your LinkedIn profile and your various Facebook groups.  You don't have to be a complete stranger to benefit, your standing will improve with those you already know.
