Guest Speaker: Erika Worth, Owner of, Collective Intelligence will cover:
  • Background Checks - What are they? How are they performed? Why are they necessary?
  • Negligent Hiring - Statistics about employee theft, workplace violence, and negligent hiring litigation.
  • How to protect your business from theft.

Erika Worth is the President and founder of Collective Intelligence, Inc., a premier background screening agency. She’s a licensed private investigator in California and Washington, and has been working in investigations since 1989. She began her detective career as an undercover investigator and surveillance operative, eventually advancing into kinesic interviewing (working as a human lie detector) and corporate investigations.

In June 2001, Collective Intelligence was formed. Three months later, America’s idea of safety and security was forever changed, and Collective Intelligence was in the foreground of a rapidly expanding market.

For over 15 years, she has pursued her passion for entrepreneurship and protecting business owners from negligent hiring lawsuits, litigious employees, and internal theft. She also provides business coaching for entrepreneurs struggling to get out of the way of their own success.
