Surviving an Active Shooter incident

Over the past 10 years, there has been an average of 16.4 “active shooter” incidents per year nationally. That’s roughly one every three weeks. A report published by the FBI stated that 60 percent of active shooter incidents were over before police could arrive on the scene. In an effort to improve our local preparedness for such an event the Clackamas County’s Sheriff’s Office is offering a short course designed to familiarize participants with what an active shooter crisis is, crisis dynamics in a school environment and police response tactics during an active shooter incident. If you want to learn how to survive an “active shooter” incident come and hear what Lieutenant Anthony Kollias of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office will share at our meeting!

Due to the scope and breadth of the information to be presented, this week's meeting will begin promptly at 7:45

Coffee and breakfast goodies will be provided.
