At this meeting, we will be learning about the Preferred Worker Program of Oregon  - a program that promotes re-employment of qualified workers called preferred workers. The objective of the program is to help-assist injured workers to stay or return to the workforce. The program gets funds from worker and employer payments into the Worker’s Benefit Fund (WBF). Employers can save money, increase their productivity and safety by hiring preferred workers.
