Paid Leave Oregon and Oregon Work Share

This meeting will include a two-part. We will hear from representatives from both Paid Leave Oregon and Worksource. 

Paid Leave Oregon is a program that ensures individuals, employers, and families of every kind have the time and support they need to care for themselves and their loved ones when they need it most. Employees can take up to 12 weeks of paid leave and choose when and how to take the time off. Paid Leave pays employees a percentage of their wages while they're on leave and protects an employee's job and role if they've worked for the same employer for at least 90 consecutive days. 

Oregon Work Share is a Lay Off Aversion program designed to help businesses retain employees when they cannot offer their customary schedule.
