Leach Botanical Gardens - Back 5 clean up

Help a non-profit chamber member grow into summer on the afternoon of Friday, June 5, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Because of budget constraints, Leach Botanical Garden would appreciate our help in their ‘Back 5’ habitat restoration area. This area has been undergoing a transformation over the past six years and serves as an outdoor eco-lab for many students. 

We will focus on removing non-native plants in an area with rustic trails and sloped terrain. Wear clothes that can get dirty. Bring your own garden gloves if you have them, otherwise the Garden will provide them. The Garden will provide all necessary tools. A hat, and sunscreen are also recommended. The chamber will have water on hand. 

The garden is located at 6704 SE 122nd Ave, in Portland, one block south of Foster Road.
