Inner Eastside Zoning Project

Join us at Norse Hall to learn all about this City of Portland project. The Inner Eastside Zoning Project will change zoning to allow for a greater variety of housing types and increase opportunities for neighborhood businesses in Portland’s Inner Eastside neighborhoods. The goal is to make this desirable area – with great access to jobs, public transportation, and everyday needs – more accessible to all. The project will consider changes to the locations of commercial zoning to expand where businesses are allowed, such as by allowing corner stores in residential areas and widening commercial zoning along corridors such as Hawthorne and Division.
